Okay. You all want to hear my opinion on the Chronicler hero? I submit. I’ll write the stupid review. Hope that you’re happy… Or not, I don’t care!

Spoiler Alert: My opinion is not the popular opinion out there… I think she’s a BIG FAT WASTE OF TIME. Yep. I said what all of you should be thinking!

About the Chronicler

AGHHHH! I’ve mentioned this a thousand time (and will mention it one thousand more) but IGG need to get there act together when writing the descriptions for the heroes. I mean, can’t they invest a few thousand dollars in writers who can brainstorm something creative.

Is that so much to ask for? SERIOUSLY!

What about, and I’m just spit-balling over here, if they add details to backstory that line up with the heroes skills and talents.

The devil is in the bloody details!

Rant over. In conclusion, don’t read the Chroniclers backstory. It will just give you a headache…

Chronicler in Colosseum

As you know, I have a comprehensive article breaking down everything that you need to know about the Colosseum.

I have plenty of heroes that I think are awesome. Read the article. I’m not going to type it all out again over here.

Point is that I not going to change it to add this Chronic-pain-ler hero to the list. She’s a let down.

But all the YouTube Lords Mobile people are huffing and puffing that she’s awesome…

Too bad. She’s a dud. She only does well, when you have an awesome team to accompany her, and even then, if you would replace her with a better hero the colosseum team would be better.

Side Note: She’s also a waste of time in the Challenges. I’ve seen people use her and when she zapped the enemies, they were practically hyperventilating. Problem was the challenge was dead easy. Raven could have done a better job. Just saying!

Colosseum War Stats

This information is usually the meat of the hero articles. This is the part that usually makes the decision when deciding to buy a P2P hero.

This hero is a Counter Boost Hero. It’s passive. So don’t make her your main leader unless of course you’re replacing her for Trickster. In that case, all the power to you. You’ll need it!

Ok. My opinion! Bleh! The counter boosts are cool. They will help the good players carry a harder punch. But all being said and done, she’s really not a necessary war skill.

The Chronicler is kind of the candy for the mega-rich 11K hero players. For everyone else, there are loads of MUCH MUCH better war heroes!

Of course, don’t bother buying her unless you’re planning on at least finishing the Military counter researches.

Very Important: This boost will only help if you are in the correct phalanx! If you attack with the wrong lineup, or if you defend incorrectly this boost will NOT help you!

Monster Hunting with the Chronicler

Okay. This is only place that the Chronicler actually shines. She’s an awesome Magical Monster Hunting Hero (NOT PHYSICAL ATK).

Honestly, my guess is that IGG are couting on this angle to make the sales.

But here’s the catch.

It’s not worth it… There are already plenty of awesome magical monster hunting heroes. I would spring out a wad of cash just to be able to use her.

She’s good, but she’s not THAT good.

Color Chronicler Paid Pack

The system for the paid packs for the Chronicler is the same as the other newer packs. The first pack costs $5 and gives you 10 medals but the second pack costs $20 and gives you only 14 medals.

Basically, it’s VERY EXPENSIVE to go quickly but it’s normal-ish to go at a slow pace and max her after a few months…

Definitely don’t bother getting her unless you plan on bringing her to at least level green. She’s useless at grey. At green she should be okay for Monster Hunting, in certain situations in the colosseum, and for challenges.

Final Thoughts on the Chronicler

The Chronicler is really underwhelming.

I was hoping for something awesome, but instead all I see are great graphics, with no soul inside…

In short, don’t get the Chronicler unless you’re a very serious rally lead player with way too much of an allowance from your parents or yourself!
