The Gryphon is actually one of the important monster for beginner players in Lords Mobile. Monster Hunting this monster is not a bad idea. Here’s my guide on how to annihilate the Gryphon in the most effective way possible!
Attacking the Gryphon

Lords Mobile is a weak description that makes so little sense that it doesn’t even warrant a quote. In short, attack the Gryphon with Regular Attack and not Magic Attack!
The magic attack will be as effective as your brain on a good day. Basically, a complete waste.
Best overall Lineup: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Trickster, and Black Crow.

Order of Heroes by overall effectiveness:
- Demon Slayer
- Cursed Hunter (P2P)
- Scarlet Bolt
- Black Crow
- Mastercook (P2P)
- Tracker
- Trickster
- Shade
Here’s the video for hunting the Gryphon. I dare you to watch it…
Gryphon Lineup by Level
The previous section explained the lineup in an overall manner. Now we will try and explain it level by level. I’ll make it simple for the dull-minded.

Please note that I don’t agree with all of HephBot’s suggestions… There are some differences below.
Level 1 Gryphon: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Death Archer, and Black Crow.
Level 2 Gryphon: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Death Archer, and Black Crow.
Level 3 Gryphon: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Trickster, and Black Crow.
Level 4 Gryphon: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Trickster, and Black Crow.
Level 5 Gryphon: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Death Archer, and Black Crow.
Please note, that if your monster research sucks, you may need to throw a healer into the mix. Just make sure to replace your weakest hero with the healer for maximum effect!
P2P Hero Lineup: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Mastercook, and Blackcrow.
Gear from Gryphon

The two gear items from the Gryphon are really important, especially for beginner players. At mythic, the two items will provide a whopping 73.5% construction boost!
If you haven’t reached Castle Level 25 yet, this is the gear items that will speed up the process! Once you are past level 25, the research boost is nice, but there are far more important monsters to focus on!
- Gryphon Walkers (Research 24.5% and Construction 49%) This gear is hard to upgrade. The Gryphon Cores are a total pain.
- Gryphon Talon. (Construction 24.5% and Gold Production 49%). This gear is unbelievably easy.
My recommendation would be to focus on the Talon before moving on to the Walkers!
Gryphon Rewards

Every time you hit (or kill) the Gryphon, you will get a reward. The kill shot will also give the entire guild a reward as well!
- Gryphon Core
- Gryphon Egg
- Gryphon Quill
- Gryphon Jewel
- Shield (8h, 24h, 3d)
- (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000) Gems
- (60m, 3hr, 8hr, 15hr, 24h) Speed Up
- Hero Chest
- Resources
Gryphon Packs
I know beginner players won’t agree with me… As if I need anyone’s approval anyways… But here we go. Don’t waste your money on the Gryphon Paid Packs…
But, the Gryphon Walkers have a massive Research boost?
True… But, there are better ways to focus on improving your research.
Let me explain by showing you the paid pack:

Each pack comes with 60 chests and only 10 Gryphon Cores. Cores have a drop rate of 4%, which is really low! The amount of chest that you will have to buy until you manage to get the Gryphon Walkers to Gold will be… You get the idea! It is a lot!
Basically, just build the Gryphon Walkers the slow way.
Unless you have a lot of money… And if you have a lot of money, you should first be buying yourself serious gear first.
Just saying!
Gryphon Drop Rate
And while we are talking about drop-rates. Here are the IGG’s official drop rates for the Gryphon. It’s not pretty! You’d think that they’d be more generous with a two-piece monster set. Whatever. Someone at IGG was either drinking too much rum at the time. I’d also drink a lot of rum if my job was to think up characters like Lore Weaver…
Gryphon Core (Rare) | 4.00% |
Gryphon Egg | 29.50% |
Gryphon Quill | 65.50% |
Gryphon Jewel | 1.00% |
